cpPerezChristopher P. Perez, ChE, MTM, Ph.D.
Christopher P. Perez is a graduate of Doctor of Philosophy in Management at International Academy of Management and Economics (IAME) - majors in Management and Political Economy (Dissertation with Distinction). He is also a graduate of Master of Technology Management (MTM) at the Technology Management Center, University of the Philippines – Diliman (Iskolar ng Bayan awardee) and a degree holder of Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of San Agustin – Iloilo City (Dean’s Lister). He also earned some MBA units in Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Calamba, Laguna and units in Diploma Program in Technology Management – De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde – School of Professional and Continuing Education).

He is currently the IAME Executive Director, Dean of Admissions and COO. He is concurrently serving as Board of Director and Corporate Secretary of IAME - Alumni Association, a Member of the IAME - Hong Kong of Global University Board of Advisory Council and an Honorarium - Adjunct Professor at University of Makati - College of Business Administration.

He’s been heavily involved in the Manufacturing, Technical & Corporate Training (establishing Corporate Universities and Learning Academies), Quality and Knowledge Management, and Management of Technology in various companies such as Procter and Gamble, Philippines, Inc, San Miguel Corporation, and United Laboratories, Incorporated. He is also one of the co-founders and one of the facilitators of CID Technical Trainers (a training consultancy group) servicing various companies such as Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, San Miguel Corporation, School of Professional and Continuing Education (De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde), Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSTD), Meralco Management and Leadership Development Center, and JGC Philippines, Inc.

He is appointed as Fellow of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) and published his article as one of the cover stories on Pharmaceutical Industry in The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines - Business Journal April 2010 Issue.
He is the currently affiliated with Philippine British Society (Associate Editor of the Official Newsletter), Philippine Council of Management (Lifetime Member) and Knowledge Management Association of the Philippines (KMAP).
He is nominated as Ambassador of Knowledge by University of Cambridge – UK in 2011.


 

eOlleresEdgar E. Olleres, Ph.D.
Dr. Edgar Olleres is a graduate of Doctor of Philosophy in Management and Political Economy and MBA at The International Academy of Management and Economics (IAME), Bachelor of Laws at Philippine Law School (PLS), BS Commerce Major in Management at Lacson College (LC) and BS Commerce Major in Accounting at Far Eastern University (FEU).
He is currently the Revenue Officer III – Collection of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) where he supervised, reviewed, evaluated and recommended on account issues by way of administrative remedies under the provisions of the Tax Code of the Philippines, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations. He also prepared implementing rules and regulations (Revenue Regulations/Revenue Memorandum Orders/Revenue Memorandum Circulars) of the bureau since 1998.
He is a Professor in the subject of Taxation, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance, Political Science, and Business Laws in several Philippine universities (International Academy of Management and Economics (IAME), St. Paul University – QC, and National College of Business and Arts – NCBA where he is also the Director for Student Affairs), and a Member of the International Advisory Council of IAME.
He is also a consultant and professional lecturer on Taxation servicing top Philippine private and public organizations all over the Philippines: Q Asia Consultants; Training Division, Bureau of Internal Revenue; National Association of Professional Real Estate Practitioners, National Association of Professional Real Estate Practitioners (NAR), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Provincial Cooperative Development Council, 304th (BUL) CDC, 3rd RCDG, ARESCOM, AFP, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)- Training Delivery Division, and SGV to name a few.


 

uMalikProfessor Urooj Malik, Ph.D.
Dr. Urooj Malik, a Natural Resource and Development Economist, heads the Hineleban Foundation. Prior to his current involvements, he was with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where his career spanned over two and half decades, having joined the bank through the prestigiious Young Professionals Program in 1985. He was educated in the United States and the Philippines. He completed his undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Resource Use Policy and Planning, and Mineral and Energy Economics, repecitvely. He holds a PhD in Management with a minor in Politial Economy.
In the year 2010, Dr. Malik voluntarily opted for early retirement from ADB to pursue his interests in areas that he feels most passionately about. He was appointed as the Chairman of Hineleban Foundation, a social enterprise focusing on integrated ecosystem management, agri-business development and rural livelihood improvement in Mindanao. He holds the position of Chief Regional Adviser at the Department of Agrarian Reform – Government of the Philppines for a rural development in Mindanao funded by the OPEC Fund for International Development. Dr. Malik is also a Professor of Resource and Development Management at the International Academy of Management and Economics.
At ADB, Dr. Malik covered a number of areas including, among others, economic and sector policy reforms; public sector management; country strategy and program development; energy and the environment; natural resources and environmental management; and agriculture and rural development. He pioneered work in numerous regional programs, including the Coral Triangle Initiative (or CTI – which is one of most significant areas of marine biodiversity in the world with the Philippines at the center of it) and Greater Mekong Sub-region Economic Cooperation Program (or GMS – that brings together six countries where the Mekong River passes through).
During his last 10 years at ADB, Dr. Malik served in ADB’s management stream, first as Country Director for Cambodia, then as Director for Mekong Infrastructure, and finally as Director, Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources, entire Southeast Asian region including the Mekong. He also served as co-chair of ADB-wide Environment Community of Practice, chair of CTI Task Force, co-chair of the GMS working groups on agriculture and environment, and as a member of the Advisory Panel for the Study on the Economics of Climate Change in Southeast Asia.
Dr. Malik has written extensively on various topical themes relating to the subject of sustainable development and spoken at numerous international and regional forums.

Engr. Pedrito A. Salvador, Ph.D. co-authored with Dr. Nerza A. Rebustes - the best-selling book “Methods of Research”, an invaluable resource for post-graduate thesis students. He obtained his B.S. Chemical Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology, Manila, Masters in Business Administration from the Philippine Christian University, Manila and Ph.D. in Management from International University Foundation Inc., Makati City, Philippines.
During the 38th National Management Congress of PhilComan held last November 25, 2011 at Marriott Hotel Manila – Dr. Ped Salvador, as a member of the PHILCOMAN Board of Governor and its Secretary-General - announced with the approval of the delegates of the Congress, a resolution to support the National Climate Change Plan of the government as spearheaded by former Senator Heherson Alvarez (head of the Climate Change Commission). The resolution title was “Pro-Active, Dynamic, and Participative Involvement in Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change”. Ped is also a member of SALIKA (SanibLakas ng mga aktibong Lingkod ng Inang Kalikasan) with Prof. Aurelio Ding Reyes, the secretary general and executive director of Pamayanang SanibLakas ng Pilipinas
Ped is a Professorial Lecturer at the International Academy of Management and Economics, teaching Operations Management. Project Management, Total Quality Management, Business Calculus, Management Science and Managerial Statistics. He was a part-time lecturer at DLSU-Dasmarinas, Cavite and Jose Rizal University handling industrial management and operations. Ped has a combined thirty years’ expertise as an operations consultant-trainer for the government agencies, manufacturing and service industries specializing in productivity improvement, total quality management, workplace efficiency, employee relations & motivation, cost-effectiveness and supply chain management.
Ped served as a senior manager of production, quality, logistics, maintenance, and engineering from multinational companies like Magnetron Technology Corp. (subsidiary of Electronic Gruffen of Sweden), Philake Metal Corp. (Taiwanese Aluminum Heat Sink Co.), Best Electronics Corporation(Malaysian Company), Amkor Anam Phils. Inc., (South Korean/American Semiconductor Co.) and Integrated Microelectronics Inc. (Filipino- Ayala owned Semiconductor Co.).
Having worked as an engineer and later as manager, Ped underwent trainings in the different lines of operations management specifically in the fields of Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, IT/ Kaizen/5S,Statistical Process Control, TQM, Total Productive Maintenance, ISO 9000/14000, Supply Chain Management, Design of Experiments, Six Sigma Quality, Forecasting and Inventory Management. He conducted customer visits and did various supplier quality audits to both local and international companies. He attended Electronics trade fairs and conferences at Vallingby, Sweden; Tallinn, Estonia; Munich, Reutlingen, Gieslingen, West Germany; Tokyo Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
