IBBM

Overview

A student interested in studying areas like management, administration and leadership may choose to earn a bachelor's degree in business management. These programs may prepare students to make sound and ethical decisions, and can instruct them on how to work efficiently in a business environment. A bachelor's degree is offered as an International Bachelor of Business Management program.

IBBM is the ladderized continuation of international baccalaureate of foreign schools, e.g., IS, Brent and British School. International Baccalaureate graduates are exempted from entrance exam. A high school diploma or card (Form 09) is required for admission and entrance examination. However, local school graduates may apply for admission and take the entrance examination. International Business programs commonly offer concentration areas within business that allow students to focus on particular areas of a broad field, such as management, marketing, finance, economics, accounting, information systems management or human resources management. Programs may also include internship opportunities that can allow students to gain hands-on experience in their chosen concentration area of business. These programs are typically designed to take four years to complete, except when taken on quartermester or trimester system. To enter such a program, a student must typically hold a high school diploma or the equivalent.
